They say the brightest stars burn out the fastest. Bright? She was fireworks in a pitch black sky. Maybe that's why she left us all smoking in the ashes. She was this beacon of light, a star guiding us through this life. But her flame imploded and now we all have to find out how to get through the darkness without her. I'm trying my best... And I'd advise you to do the same. Best of love, Samantha Muller.

Moving 1,370 miles away from home to take care of her grandma wasn't how Ashlyn Emerson planned on spending her summer. She knew taking care of the woman who raised her wasn't going to be an easy task. She has always been a free spirit. The kind of girl who turned her head towards the stars closed her eyes and dreamed. You'd think someone who studied the stars would know better than to wish on them. But she still gave them one simple wish: that she'd find her place in this world. Forced to grow up too fast, Eli Cormac was the sole provider for his younger brother and sister. He was making ends meet but dreamed of something greater. Something to help him find the happiness he once had. Eli looked towards the stars asking for a sign from the universe that he wasn't meant to be alone. Looking up into the night sky was comforting. It felt safe. And when Ashlyn and Eli bump into each other at the old star observatory in the middle of the night, they both take it as a sign. They were both on the right track all along. ___________________________________________ *A Summer Romance & The Wish That Changed Everything* 💙 © All Rights Reserved 2020
