In the year 5092, Earth has been overrun by monsters that prey on humans. The only safe places are known as Safehouses, large metal domes that house single cities and are connected by metal walkways. The only other defense against the monsters are the Fighters, those who go to areas where the monsters have breached, kill the invaders, and repair the holes in the Safehouse.
Aira is just starting her new role as a Fighter when more and more breaches appear in her home, Safehouse 43. Aspiring, skilled, and fearless, she is confident that being a Fighter is what she is meant to do. However, the other members of Fighter Group 43 are less than willing to trust her and her belief that the new breaches were caused intentionally.All Rights Reserved

Yet no amount of reading could have prepared her for what was to come. A war has been waging for centuries. The war between Giala and Conjured - evil, decaying, humanlike creatures with burning blue eyes and a hatred for royals. Royals like Hera, princess of Giala. And now, as the new queen, it's Hera's job to kill them, and not loose herself or the bright colours of her world in the battle for peace.
