Jack and Ann have taken me on a great adventure full of mystery and incredible technology, I hope you'll join us. I know you have a lot of reading choices, but if you have space left in your literary adventure cup, please join Jack and Ann as 2021 turns into 2022, happy reading! __ The demon whispers inside Jack's mind. "They are not worthy, they are cattle, these new humans you covet. The so-called creator has betrayed you, replaced you with these organic imitations. Slaughter them all." It's funny, not in a ha-ha funny way, but a sad, my madness doesn't make sense type of way, Jack thinks, because wasn't he human? Worse still, the voice comes with impulses that are hard to resist. Violence usually ensues. That's why he joined the military. A way to channel his urges into mind-numbing physical effort and war. It works for a time. But alcohol and fighting can only carry on for so long. Finally, he realizes, his only way out is suicide. But when he opens his eyes, he's in the In-Between. The creator has other plans for him, and she won't take no for an answer. Apparently, this isn't his first life and if he doesn't free her from her prison, it won't be his last. His curse is to be reborn without end, without rest, without memory. Only madness. Now Jack is on the run from forces he doesn't understand. It's a new world. The mundane replaced by ethereal artificial intelligence, spontaneous virtual realities, and homicidal bible salesmen. But the creator promises the demon's voice will disappear as soon as he finds the right girl, the right bond. After that, they just have to escape the clutches of those who hunt them, find the Isle of Song, and free the creator from her prison. Or maybe this time, in this life, Jack will figure out what true freedom is. Come along on this action-packed thriller as Jack fights to remember who he is, tries to end an eternal war, and atone for sins he doesn't remember...yet.

Oh, look at you. Sitting there all smug like you've got this shit figured out. 'Oh, cool, another post-apocalyptic story? Seen it, over it, don't give a fuck.' Yeah? Well, guess what, my dude? You don't know jackshit. And you sure as hell don't know Sky King and Ezra Black. If you did? Yeah, you'd be swan diving headfirst into this glorious mayhem. But hey, don't sweat it; no one's holding a goddamn gun to your head. You wanna dip out? Fine. Run along, sweetheart. It's all optional chaos here. Dip in whenever you feel like it. Ezra and Sky? Oh, they're two walking middle fingers to destiny. These two? They've been curb-stomping nightmares since they were seven and eight years old. Seven and fucking eight. Barely old enough to tie their fuckin' shoes, let alone survive in a world where demons literally eat you alive. But you know what? They fucking survived. You think you could last that long in a post-apocalyptic shitshow without some heavy-handed plot armor? Go ahead and give it a shot. I'll wait. Now, cut to right the fuck now. The boys are knocking on thirty-and let me tell you something-they're dominating. In a world they shouldn't have survived, they jackknife powerbombed the shit outta it and slammed it into the goddamn pavement. Yeah, they shook it down in the most disrespectful way possible and came out on top, thriving like absolute fucking kings. Sure, maybe their moral compass is more of a "suggestion" than a "guiding principle." Maybe they're not out here kissing babies and saving kittens. Who gives a fuck? If you were expecting some righteous, noble bullshit, I don't know what to tell you. Wrong story, champ. Sky and Ezra? They're the nightmares that make other nightmares piss themselves. *Cue the goddamn soundtrack* (Now let's rip that fourth wall down and go ride this thing into the sunset!)

Immerse yourself in the Descendants Franchise and pursue love and adventure with the 5 VK's! Gino Gothel, son of Mother Gothel, spends his time along the Isle of the Lost as any of the other villains kids do, stealing, lying, and of course, causing mischief anywhere he goes. His mother expects highly of him and he always plans to deliver, taking his place alongside the children of the greatest known villains there've ever been. However, his story will begin to unfold deeper when Prince Ben and his adopted sister Princess Y/N offer a invitation of redemption to the 5 villian kids: Mal, Evie, Jay, Carlos, and Gino. Quick Notes and Disclaimers: -This story is based off the first movie of "Descendants" -This is my first ever story I have written on here! (Yay!!) So I'd appreciate any patience on that part, and of course any corrections or mistakes you'd like to comment! - I don't know how often ill update this, but I'd like to have some done at least daily. - This is a romance intended story between Gino and Y/N, who is female. - I do not own "Descendants", the main story belongs the Disney, however Gino is my original character and additional scenes for him and Y/N are also my ideas. - I also do not own the music in this movie, however I recommend listening to it as you read the songs. (In my opinion, its low key a vibe :D) - Cover is AI Art generated by Me (Took many tries but I think he looks good!) - Please don't use my ideas without permission (Gino, and any added Scenes) - Feel free to comment if you enjoyed it! Thanks!

"We're all test subjects," Reese answered. "We were able to escape the system after receiving the cure though. All of us ended up with memory-erasing abilities which is one of the very few abilities that allows you to get out unnoticed." I blinked. Memory erasing? What the heck was she talking about? "Back up a second," I tried to keep my tone even and not let on to the whirlwind of emotions flaring up inside me. "How did you end up with magical abilities?" "They aren't magic dumbass," Micaiah scorned. "The whole reason they created the disease was survival of the fittest, as Skye mentioned. They're purposefully making the weak minorities sick to kill them off while they take the strongest young men and women to 'test' on, when really, they're just purposefully giving us the disease and then the cure. The cure is meant to 'over cure' us so to speak, as in make us stronger than we were before. We each end up with something slightly different." ☁ With Eli dead, it's back to the four of them. They set out to find the camp he'd mentioned, but they could have never imagined what it actually was. They've discovered national secrets that could kill them. With the help of another group of four ragged teenagers, they have to find a way to complete the impossible task of freeing the camp without losing their heads in the process. Follow each of them as they discover who they are, who they love, and more of their country's secrets than they could ever dream of in a thrilling trilogy told from all five points of view.
