New York City, a city that Kathrine had dreamed of living in ever since she was a little girl. Yes it was loud, at times obnoxious, but so was Kat. Or at least that's what her mother always said, out of love of course. Moving to New York felt like a fever dream to her, even when she set down the last box in her small apartment she still felt like she would wake up and it would all be gone. Working in a office definitely wasn't her dream job, but it paid the bills and for now that's all that mattered. Or at least that's what she always tried to remind herself. Once chilly fall night after being talked down to by coworkers and walked all over by bosses Kat needed a drink, and possibly some new paints. She had a lot of frustrations to take out on the canvas tonight, that was for sure. Who would have known that trip to the liquor store with an arm full of new canvas and paints would lead to a struggling artist learning to smile again. The reason for those smiles, his name, was Harry.
