Loren is just a teenager growing up in the midst of small town drama, dealing with the divorce of her parents, and still trying to unlock the door to understanding boys.

When Josh, a well-known athlete at the local high school, starts to take notice of Loren's unrecognized beauty, she is taken by surprise. Her initial response is to push away, but when she finds out his motives, she soon realizes that maybe love really isn't as bad as she thinks.
