A hunter of witches has been told for all his years not to fall prey to their seduction and spells. Witches can be beautiful and they can be old, and all are immortal. She is part of a coven of thirteen, the leader, known for her brutality and lack of heart or soul. The witch hunter is set upon making her his 100th kill, but it might be him that dies. For on the night of the hunt he gazes into her eyes and for the rest of his mortal life he will wonder what was truly in them.
She has been raised with no soul, forced to leave behind her heart, but has made alliances with twelve others along the way. They are known for being brutal, individuals, and yet she is their leader. They are filled with hate that has been pent up for centuries and now they hold power over witches and covens alike. Though her goals are not as brutal as they may seem. To hunt down their hunters, and who else but themselves will be the bait for their enemies destruction. She has killed millions without thought, but maybe this one will be different, for it seems she cannot put that fatal dagger in his heart.
