After a hero fails to save her older sister, Kita Yukimura decides to become a hero herself. She's determined to reform hero society by becoming a better hero. Kita sets out to enroll in the prestigious  high school of heroics known as U.A. 

Kita only enrolled at U.A. to become a great hero. She didn't didn't plan on making so many new friends, rivals, and she certainly didn't expect to fall for one of her classmates.    

Competing with her classmates is only one of Kita's worries. A radical villain group with a hatred for hero society arises. What sort of heinous schemes do they have planned, and what does Kita have to do with any of this?
