One day Ember Griffin got kicked out of her house because she couldn't pay for the alcohol for her father anymore and it was to dangerous for her to live there anymore. Walking down the street she overheard a conversation about how the house at the top of the hill was abandoned and haunted by some nine tailed fox demon which she didn't believe, they were just stories and legends Right? Homeless with nowhere else to go and not believing the rumours she decided to pay a little visit. Okay a long visit as long as no one notices.          To help you understand the story it's about Yokai which are spiritual entities (demons, ghosts etc) and there are different types of Yokai, for example the wild fox Yokai or fox demon is a very rare one and it uses fire magic called fox fire some have nine tails like the legends and some don't but there are plenty of different types of Yokai and monsters. If you still don't understand I suggest you search it up or watch the anime named below.   Based on the anime kamisama kiss and inu x boku. The structure of the chapters is based on Dante's Inferno/The Devine Comedy. I started this around the same time I drafted "Letters From Iroh," when I was in my first year of college/university. I was reading the book for a Humanities course at the time and writing this helped me to better remember the order of all the layers of Hell and the corresponding sins/punishments/etc. Look at that, anime helped my grade! Suddenly, from the dark area of the building, there is a shadow with a sword showed up, then he saw a girl wearing japanese tradition outfit holding a samurai. She fights him with her prowess with her samurai, until she beats him, left collapsed. Simon wakes up, when surprisingly, he is at the mountains full of trees and with wood houses at the center. He was tied up at a tree, when samurai girl with group of ninja showed to him. She asked what is his purpose of coming in. At first, she is not willing to help as it will cause harm in her community, but later was convinced without apparent reason, to help him. She come up with a decision after she made a meditation for several days, calling her to help that man. They both went around the mountains, while along the road he finds her doing a meditation every day. One day, he accidentally touched her hand, but she gets mad, and said never to touch her again. He finds it weird with a petty reason she gets crazily mad. When he touched her, he feels some kinda unexplainable feeling, but he rejected it.
