They get transported to some kind of dimension that they cannot get out of. 

To a hidden world from the past.

A place (cover photo), that was abandoned where those with different abilities didn't get along so they where to their own dimensions.

Mumbo the representation of Light stumbles across an ancient portal that he decides to activate and it transports him as well as Grian, to that dimension. 

They are each of the two different species. 

 They represent, Freedom, and Light. 

Mumbo with redstone abilities to power, create, teleport, and hover.

And Grian with the ability to fly.

But....

mumbo and grian begin setting dares for one another, playing 'chicken' until one gives up. failing to realise both were as stubborn as one another. feelings seem to emerge from both and the dares get rapidly ludicrous i am only shipping the online personas, this is set in minecraft grians an avian cover art isnt mine it's 21space_bunny12 on hold for a bit
