«i think you're really cool» reddie band au

the time when the losers had a band, and things get complicated

a small excerpt:

"i am the physical embodiment of everything i never wanted to be
people must think this kids fucking crazy
i am the prime example of indecision
life hit me like a head on collision
but what am i supposed to do
when i'm so see through"

eddie smiled as he sang to the lyrics he wrote. now he just had to figure out the rest of the song. "what chords could go with this," eddie said to himself.

"EDWARD SPAGETWARD"

eddie turned around, only see richie, inches from his face with a stupid-ass smile on him. he definitely did not expect that, so he screamed. and fell form his chair, landing on the floor, flat on his ass.

"what the hell richie?! what could you possibly be screaming about now?!" eddie yelled from the floor.

"well my dear spaghetti, it seems to come to my attention that my good friend, and classmate in almost every fucking class, can sing like a GOD," richie announced with full certainty.

eddie sighed, "i didn't think i was even good, and-"

"what part of you sound like a GOD do you not understand" richie questioned. "that verse deserves a fucking slow clap by itself ed's!"

richie, obnoxiously, started slow clapping while walking around in circles around the boy on the floor.

eddie chuckled, a small pink rose to his cheeks, flustered, as he sat up straighter.

"RICHIE, HURRY UP AND GET THE SHEET MUSIC, STAN IS GOING ON A RANT ABOUT THE WAYS HE'S GONNA MURDER YOU AND IT'S GETTING BORING, I'VE HEARD THIS ONE BEFORE SO HURRY UP!" an angry, yet gentle, voice yelled from the hall.

"ok, i need to bounce, but you know what- i expect you to be in the auditorium in one hour ed's," richie yelled, running out of the room. "ONE HOUR!"

"BUT-" eddie didn't bother arguing as richie was long gone.
