"Guhhhh" I grunt as I slam my sword down onto his, but it didn't have the desired effect. A large smirk appears on his face. "Gotcha." He says and goes to slam his sword into my stomach.
I take a deep breath in and close my eyes, I will never win if I don't calm down. I open them again to see the world moving slowly around me. Like someone put me in fast forward.
Alex is still lunging for me. What the actually fuck. I think I'm might have a mental breakdown if everything doesn't start going at the right speed.
Just as I'm thinking that I hear a voice. "You have the skill and power to win this fight. Use what has been given to you and do it."
Okay creepy old dude in my head! It would feel really good to finally win one of these.
I block his sword with mine and push it away. I then thrust my sword up to his throat.
As I do that the world returns to normal. "You sure about that?"
