The day started off normal for the ninja. If anything, it was more calm then usual. That is, until Zane starts to get random and weird malfunctions and alerts. When the ninja decide to check out the reason behind them, they get thrown into a wild ride. 

Stuck in an alternate reality, the ninja have to learn to navigate the new and unusual Ninjago City. Fortunately , they'll have help. Unfortunately, their help consists of someone who looks an awful lot like the one person Lloyd despises the most. The girl who broke his heart. 

While the ninja struggle to adjust to this strange, new land, an evil stirs in the shadows of the great neon lights. One that plots to destroy Ninjago City, and both teams of ninja. 

Unless the ninja are able to move past the grudges and pains of the past and learn the value of trust, they will crush below the reign of the Shadow Lord.
