Nellwyn was used to people coming and going, those she loved had a habit of dying. What she was most afraid of she craved the most: to love and to be loved in return. When her father sends her to the nearby kingdom Camelot to live with her childhood best friend, Arthur Pendragon, life as she knows it gets turned on it's head to show her that maybe it's okay to trust again. Sir Gwaine and Sir Percival meet her at the courtyard to escort her to the castle while Arthur is kept busy in a panic over his missing manservant. Friendships are made, love blossoms, but nobody can truly escape tragedy.

I got the inspiration for this story from a similar oneshot on Fanfiction.net by Aeon The Dimensional Girl if the user wishes for me to take this one down I will, however I will point out that I expanded on the concept and definitely made it my own. Originally gonna be a one shot, but ended up being too long for a one shot. Merlin returns to Camelot after Arthur dies and gets banished by Gwen. He goes to sit by the lake of Avalon to wait for Arthur. Eventually Arthur returns. Merlin is not immortal in this version, however he is still extremely powerful. This is about their life together.
