Mal loves her dad. He's funny, kind, and treats her nicely. One thing she wonders is, who's her mother? Her best friend Evie has one and she loves her. Mal just wants someone she can talk to when things get crazy. She can talk to her dad, but he doesn't get her like a mother would. Hades wants what is best for Mal. Finding out her mother was the most evil person wouldn't be the best thing for her. On Mal's eighteenth birthday, she has a dream about her mother and recruits her friends to follow her lead.
