Hello
Its a short story about denial to the feelings which people are too afraid to show. Our tendency to run away before even looking it in the face. A party. Friends. And unexpected reunion.
So lets just say, its" Just Another Story". It's up to you of how to perceive it.

I tried submitting this story in a contest presented by Wattpad in Write India season 3 (by Times of India) but i missed the deadline. My bad. So I'll publish it here instead as it is something out of the box in the context of the conventional country I live in. It's a small way to change minds and mould it into a broader and selfless perspective.

A warning before you read, I am not a writer. I like writing and I am trying to open up to the world of writing. It's some of my initial attempts so just give me some slack. I'll be grateful.
There was a prompt provided by the contest author Vivek Shanbhag and I have highlighted it. The limit was 3000 words but I may have exceeded it a bit.
Please read it with an open mind. And be brave !!!!

SECRET & SCARS

9 parts Ongoing

𝐕𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐚𝐣𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢 𝐗 𝐉𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐯𝐢 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐧. In a world that screams, I stand in despair, My voice drowned out, lost in the air. Chains of tradition tighten each day, I long to escape, but I'm forced to stay. Each breath I take feels heavy and torn, Every mistake a scar I've worn. I crave a sky where I can be free, Away from the walls that imprison me. For now, I sit with my heart in pain, Silent, yet screaming, again and again. Though shattered, a spark in me still survives, Dreaming of freedom where my soul can rise.
