Delilah's been waiting for years. She's been waiting for the right moment. The right moment to escape from her husbands abusive grasp. She's been planning her great escape for as long as she's been married. It's so planned out, that nothing'll be able to go wrong.
This is it.
She'll finally be free.

This is a short story that I wrote for a school assignment. I decided that it would be fun to post it and get critiques. On that note, feel free to leave feedback in the comments.
This story was inspired by the picture attatched to the story and cover picture. The only limits were that it had to be 'school appropriate', and fit on a single page in 12p font, single spaced.

Piper 1: Delilah's Journey
Meet Delilah Grey. A normal 14-year-old girl who lives with her mother in northern Pennsylvania. At the young age of seven, Delilah, was forced to deal with her mother's severe allergies and multiple psychological fears. The relief of finishing the 8th grade is quickly diminished as more problems arise. "A blood curdling scream cut through the otherwise silent morning air. Delilah's eyes flew open and she sat up in bed. Delilah lived alone with her mother. The possibilities shot through Delilah's head as she raced for her bedroom door. Delilah stopped at the top of the stairs, examining the scene below her. Delilah's mother was standing on the fourth step, plastered against the wall. Her expression was full of terror. Delilah walked down a few steps and followed her mother's gaze to the living room. It wasn't difficult for Delilah to see what had spooked her mother so much. The sight made Delilah's eyes widen and her mouth fall open." A series of strange occurrences in her family home, sends Delilah's neat freak mother to sell the house and move away. When another similar incident happens in Grey household, Delilah is blamed for it. Because of this, her mother sends Delilah to live with her father in New York. During her time with her father, Delilah learns the crazy truth about her family. As this new news bring more questions to Delilah, she finally begins to understand herself. Just as Delilah finally begins to find her place in the world, it's all shaken up. Delilah learns the darker side to her family history, and the history of her world. In a world full of magic, Delilah is given an offer she's told she can't refuse. In the end, will Delilah choose to be the hero or the villain? This story contains a small amount of mature language and a few adult themes.Concluida
Lets Just Say..... I Was Not Expecting This
I was not expecting to turn into werewolf on my 16th birthday, definitely not expecting the word Mate to be real and very legit and like the god damn cherry on top my parents joined us to a pack and moved me, my brother and sisters away from our only life we knew. I guess you could say I was suprised but that would be the biggest understatement of the year. The only thing I'm thinking about right now is well things could've been alot worse...... shit I really shouldn't have said that, I pretty much just jinxed myself. The Royal Deal
It was supposed to be a marriage. A contract marriage. A simple deal beneficial to two families. But she hated it, she hated objectifying herself for the greed of her father. She hated the feeling of losing from a bunch of strangers who didn't consider her say in her own life. So, she turned the tables. What she didn't know was, he only agreed to a deal thinking she had a say. He didn't want a marriage yet agreed to one for the benefit and name of his family. He wasn't a man to mess with but she took her chance and he let her. And it might be her biggest mistake. Taking her chances with him. He got obsessed with everything about her. Her fragrance. Her voice. Her very presence. She came into his life with all the intentions to leave. Now the question is, would he really let her go? Would she want to stay?
Maybe Too Protective
We reached the hospital and Ryder, still being gentle, jumped out of the car. Zach opened the doors for him and they rushed inside the emergency room. "We need a little help." Max asked the nurse at the table. SHe seemed a little bit annoyed. "Sir this is the trauma center. If you have an emergency that can wait...Oh my gosh." She spoke once she looked at me. "Dr!" She looked at a blonde woman walking by. "Yes?" The woman walked over with a smile on her face. The nurse pointed at me. "Over here." She lead the guys to a hospital bed that they laid me down. "If it means anything, she has panic attacks." Ryder explained. "Page Shepard." She told someone. "What's her name?" "Lucy." Ryder told them. Then, light people around me became blurs, than darkness. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Maybe you had some high school bullies, but I hope they weren't like Lucy Smith's bullies. Lucy Smith is entering into her first year of high school, going to school with her best friend and four out of her five older, protective brothers. Being part of the Smith family gives her some different effects on the the guys around her and some people don't take too kindly to that. When she runs into Miley, her physically tormenting bully who has serve anger issues, things don't take turns for the better. Thank you to the covers app and the Color Pop phone app for the cover.
