There has never been a single act of violence aboard the generation ship Gaia in six hundred years. But now, about halfway to its final destination, a young man is found dead and detective Calamina Nhyn, out of her depth, is racing against the clock to try to find the killer before it's too late.

"The young man must have been in his mid-twenties, a pointed nose, strong jaw, dark lashes, wearing the navy-blue uniform of the Guardians. His platinum blonde hair floated around him in the chamber's antigravity. His face looked peaceful. If there had been pain, there was nothing in his features to show it. Were it not for the paper-white skin and blue lips, I would have thought he was just sleeping.
I held my breath as I examined him closer, just like those Protocol vids OM made me watch on the way over had instructed. My hands shook as I looked over his body for injuries, as I sampled his blood, saliva and hair, as I swabbed his clothes."

This is what I imagine (want) to happen straight after season 6 ended (Aaron is still in the story despite him having confirmed he won't be in season 7), focus on Chenford, slow burn. The Oscar/Jason storyline is incorporated from season 6 but not Monica. Lucy sets out to prove herself again as a good cop after her disaster with the detective's exam. Will the awkwardness between Chenford be resolved? Or will it all come to a head? Disclaimer - I have stayed true to each character's mannerisms in the show, so if you're looking for a story where Tim calls Lucy his pookie princess and is overly gushy, you won't find that here. I have remained as realistic as I can with each character's actions, behaviours and words.Complete

Commander Nia, of The USS Nebulus, follows a cosmic trail to find her captain, who is kidnapped by a Type V civilization in the Epsilon Carinae System of the Carina-Sagittarius arm of the Milky Way Galaxy. She descends into an H II cloud, breath bated, unaware of what awaits her on the other side. What she finds sends a shockwave that shudders her very pillars of existence. *Fun Fact* This story began as a short story I wrote a while back. But then I thought, what the hell, couldn't hurt to try and make it a ten-volume novella. That's why the first part is quite long spanning about 5,000 words. Chaucer, you have a wonderful opportunity here, are you going to take it or not?" Now, I am seriously confused, "Opportunity?" She takes advantage of my befuddled state and shoves the door open. Shit. The corners of her mouth pull up, and it's so unnatural, it takes me a moment to realize she's smiling. Major plastic surgery? Probably. Click. Did she just lock the door? She locked the door! I spring towards the house phone, dusty from years of doing absolutely nothing, so I can call the police. I don't make it. Halfway there, I trip on my own pant-leg and face plant on the floor. The woman steps over me and retrieves the phone. She looks at it as if it's a foreign object, "This won't be necessary. All I want to do is talk to you." For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. It's so lonely here on this big romantic island, in this alien moon colony that I own. With my wife away all week, and my job as an Overlord stressing me out, there's just no time for romance. Passions unfold in this totally dead serious and not at all blatantly satirical story, of sarcastic romance and self-love, where me and other me with a beard, split hairs on the definitions of what having "an affair" even means. Is it even cheating if it's you on you? Maybe, but what our cloned wife doesn't know, won't hurt them. An affair turns to a coverup, and a series of murders to bury the situation. Every step closer to myself, takes me closer to a prison sentence, as things become harder to hide, and suspicious turn to theories.
