Even in a world full of magic and wonder, no one can escape dealing with very human problems. 

Claire, the outspoken witty new kid mermaid is fearful of being alone and separated, and just wants a group of friends to call her own. Elora, the wild one who always seems to have everything under control, has panic attacks due to her fear of change and doesn't want to be replaced. Abelle, the shy and timid wizard believes that she is powerless. Nick, the daring and wicked wizard brother wants to regain his family's affection. Lily, the bubbly vampire believes she ruins everything she touches. Thomas, the self-confident witch, struggles to let the past be the past. And Mystic, the pixie with a heart of goal and desire to be extroverted is suffering from anxiety after getting hurt. How do these students navigate the realities of being a teenager when a malicious entity is brewing up trouble in their school?

For those fans of The Magicians, Legacies, and Harry Potter, comes an original story of friendship, siblingship, adventure, and magic. Overcome fear as you step into  Venefica and live the lives of eight interconnected students.

AN: This is not just my story. In fact, it is the story of many people who poured their hearts out into a forum years ago. But just because this story isn't just mine, doesn't mean I don't have a say in what happened. This is my part of my story. The story that I like to think happened to Claire all those years ago, rewritten and polished. 

I'm sorry guys.  I struggle to let this part of my life go. I'm hoping closer on this can finally put my soul to rest.

I have a lot of years to play with so their friendship/romance is going to go through a lot. ALSO REMEMBER THE CHARCTERS ARE JUST KIDS. Especially in the first few years. So let's not be weird. Obviously this all depends on your own age too. ANYWAYS I REALLY HOPE YOU ENJOY!!

They face an Evil Spirit that has taken control of the hearts of the once kind and caring people of Yllop. And they fight to restore the power of the true ruler of the Garden. The Search for the Eoz Potion explores the reasons why people will sometimes upend their lives and put themselves in harm's way in order to provide a better life for others. At its heart, this is a story about friendship and the power of sacrifice. In enduring all of these trials to help their friend, Hailey and Claire learn to trust each other and develop a confidence they didn't know they could find. This book was written as a project with my kids who were 10, 9, and 5 at the time. I had the basic idea and they filled in the details with things they thought would be interesting and exciting. I then tried to fit it all together into one story. The result is The Search for the Eoz Potion.
