Sarah Hopkins is a 14 year old. All she ever dreamed about was being normal. She wanted friends, a full classroom. What she got was a one on one. She also got mind numbing tests. Sarah got electroshock therapy to try and fix an abnormal spot in her brain. She gets put up for adoption when they finally give up, after 12 years. Our protagonist leaves behind her friend, Ray Lou. She was Sarah's only friend. Well, she had 3 personalities. So her only "3" friends. She was held in a mental ward as they saw the condition as a mental illness. She never showed any symptoms of mental illness. Not even sociopathy. She was a normal girl. It took 2 year, but she finally got adopted! She was so excited, she was just... A little different for those years. She actually studied in an interactive school book. She was more of an outcast. She liked it that way.

She recruits Jason to help her and they begin to get close over the course of it. For some reason these two boys cheer her up. I stood peering over the cold lifeless body that lay before my eyes. I had always thought of death the enemy, but right now, I blessed it upon the person who is now at peace. Sometimes you don't need to be the smartest, or the fastest, but you do need to be wisest. Someone once said when you pass, if you can count your true friends on one hand you are beyond lucky, and I even though I did not like the person that lay before me, I know that he once had true friends, including me.
