''Hey, dollface.'' He shouted behind me.

I hissed and pretend not to hear anything. Maybe if I ignore them, they would go away like in the nightmares.

''Hey, Dollface!''

Please go away.

I was almost at the entrance of the school when a hard hand reached out, tugging at my ponytail making me halt.

''I know you hear us, that's the second time you've been a bad girl,'' Gabriel growled in my ear.

Knots of anticipation and fear corded through my guts. He pushed me into the group of other guys who grabbed me in place.

''Please, believe me, I didn't see anything. I was just having a nice, morning walk through the neighborhood, that's it.'' I looked back at him and did not convey any sign of weakness. Although my voice was shakier than intended to be, it was a deadpan giveaway.

''Well, We don't believe you, '' Heath joined in, he had the same evil glint in his eyes that would have me running for the hills. ''We want to know what you saw.''

"I didn't ask to be in the middle of your ego-battle," I grumble. Blake pins me to my locker, hands resting on either side of my head. "Well, you got it in anyway, Darling," he whispers. His face is inches away from mine and damn me for licking my lips. I am NOT falling for these guys. And then, at the corner of my eye I spot Owen and his gang approaching. Well, that's just great. *** The West and East gang of Tygerwell have been at each other's throats since the dawn of time. And the two leaders of these gangs want to end the fight, once and for all. But fighting with fists is easy. Fighting with wit and charm, is a whole other ball game. Blake. West-side gang leader. Leather jacket and killer glare. Don't talk back. Owen. East-side gang leader. Fancy coat and toxic stare. Don't resist. And in comes Amber. Hair of gold and oceans in her eyes. Has too much sass for her own good and always, ALWAYS, manages to get into the middle of trouble. But these boys have no idea who they're really dealing with. And when Amber descovers she knows a little too much when it comes to guns and fighting, she has to question everything she thought she knew about herself. Three can play this game. *** "Let's settle this. You got rejected, I got rejected. It's only fair that the fate of the gangs be on who gets the girl first." "That sounds rather good, Rhodes. I'll take that bet on the golden girl." *** COMPLETED FICTION AWARDS: Best new story and best new account Highest ranking in Teen Fiction: #1 on 25/06/2018

Without any warning he turned toward me. I took a small step back but find the door behind me. He leaned toward me resting one arm at my head level at the side of my form. I was frozed by his proximity. We remained at that position for some seconds. "God, you are so tempting", he muttered under his breath looking at my eyes and slowly lower his gaze on my lips then again back to my eyes. His oceanic blue eyes were sparkelling. She looks up at me, taking a step forward and smiling slightly, "How can I ever get hurt when I have you here to protect me?" "But you could have gotten hurt," I murmur softly, hanging my head and feeling my shoulders drop, the tension seeping from my body. "No. Stop," She cuts me off sternly but tenderly, "Don't talk like that, Reece. I'm okay, you're okay, we're okay," She speaks softly, reaching her hand up to gently brush her thumb over my cheek, just under the cut that's there. "We're okay," I repeat, taking a small step closer to her. She nods with a small smile, moving her hand down from my cheek and instead placing the palm of her hand on my chest, right over my heart. I know she can feel how fast my heart is beating. I just don't know why it's doing that. ~ Reece Carter is the bad boy of Northwood High. He smokes and he fights. 'You hurt me, And I hurt you. We are forever even.' /// 'So why are you talking to me again?' 'Switch up the scenery,' he replied shortly. I frowned and took a small bite of my ice cream. Only a week ago I was crying in his arms with bruised knuckles at a bus stop. I had decided that would be the last time we would ever even be together. I had thought that it would turn into an embarrassing memory that I would always associate with his name. Yet here we were. He was sitting across from me with tinted lips from stained ice-cream. And this very moment caused me to wonder what more would come from that memory. I was a firm believer in avoiding violence. This is ironic since I was the one who punched a girl. But the more I thought about it and the more I took in Blake's presence sitting across from me, the more I came to the conclusion that maybe something good came from it. And to think, this entire thing was sprouted from one ride home. ~ ~ ~ WARNING: -This book contains profanity -It also has sexual dialogue and very suggested sexual scenes so it may get a lil frisky ~I have already pre-written most of this book so updates should be fairly quick
