The first person to Awaken was looked upon as a God. We all thought he was anyways, the Earth seemed to flourish around him. People were attracted to his light. The blind man with a cane looked so benevolent, we placed him as our leader. The World's Leader, uniting all of us in peace and harmony under him. That is. . . Until others started to Wake Up as well. We could suddenly see the connections around us, we could create things with our minds and the Earth we lived on thrived on our power.
Our Leader didn't like that though. So, he seized his citizens and put them in a deep sleep, where they were in a "perfect world" under his ruling. There were glitches in the program though. And people started to wake up and escape the jails we were sentenced to for eternity.
"I am Hanna. The last to fall asleep, and with the help of a society of hackers helping to Awaken others, I woke up to a dead world."
"And I am Philip, I woke up to a world with no one looking for me. Stranded, I fight for survival. Fight to find someone who is also Awake."
"It is my job to train these soldiers and fight against the Leader."
" It is our job to bring life back to Earth."

The Virus Within: The Unranked (Book 4)

50 parts Complete

Season 4 of The Virus Within Trinity is familiar with zombies, being one herself, but when strange zombies start appearing, she realizes that the world she knew might be changing yet again. When a dangerous set of scientific notes are discovered, Trinity and her friends don't realize anything is wrong until a frantic radio call comes in. Unaware of the notes, they race to the south and struggle to determine where the strange zombies came from. The zombies are unlike any ranks previously seen, and they aren't as predictable. Some have new tricks hidden up sleeves, forcing any Stronghold they encounter to quickly adapt to the new challenge or risk being overrun. Secrets never remain hidden, and zombie apocalypses never make life easy.
