When Logan figures out that his IQ is the highest in the world, he's 6.
He just started school at the Richfield school for the gifted, when he takes the Mensa test in one of his many advanced classes, when his school figures it out. He is allowed to continue at the school even though he could graduate at the age of 8 or 9.
But how does his intelligence effect him the long run? What will happen when he meets the girl of his dreams but can't even talk to her?

Dr. Addison Coles moved away from everything and everyone he knew because he was tired of being different and alone. "Oh," he said, as my back hit the wooden wall. Damn it, of course. With nowhere to go, his arms locked me in between him and the wall. He stared down at me as he said, "So you're trying to piss me off?" His lips were surprisingly close to mine. No guy would ever be this close to me in real life, let alone me being able to handle it; I would've been so timid and afraid. But this was the dream world. I could speak and be as brave as I wanted to. "Yeah, I am," I said. "What are you gonna do about it?" He paused as his eyes looked between the two of mine. Then, he smirked and swiftly closed the gap between our lips. ~~ In a small town in New York, Hazel is your average quiet type. In a school full of clichés, she falls perfectly under the category of "nerd" and has her own little nerdy group of people she loves to hang around. They respect the fact that she's non-verbal. My brother the 10 year old genius
We're about 4 years apart, he's only 10 years old and still the smartest person I know. I'm 14 years old, and starting my first year of high school. And may I just say, what a great way to start the year off by first having all the parents be abducted by aliens. Compared to the rest of our family it makes me feel stupid, but then compare me to our parents and my IQ goes from stupid to at least average. Our mom is pretty smart, my dad isn't that smart, and sounds like he really only cares about ducks. People make fun of him for being so smart, but I love him, most days anyways. He's my best friend and he says I'm the coolest big sister he's ever had, to be clear I'm the only sister he's ever had. He has one of those space HQs one of those bigger on the inside tiny on the outside, and invents all and everything. Including our dog, I'm allergic to anything that sheds, but have always wanted a pet, so he made me one himself. I just wish he'd ask me first before he tests his experiments on me. Logan- the typical. he's not always good with girls, never being able to understand their motives, but enjoys being around them. He's not a bad boy or anything, just about the opposite in fact. but, he IS a great friend, and always the one to depend on. Sam- her body image is way below average. even though she seems normal, deep inside, well, not too deep, just about skin-deep, she is way too worried over the things that shouldn't matter, but do anyway in todays society: weight. She's not fat or anything, just self-conscious, and very lonely. Put them together, things actually don't appear to clash. But when Logan moves from California, to Michigan, he notices that he isn't going to be able to avoid this girl. Especially since she "just so happens" to live in the room directly across from his.
