Cadine and Josh still mourn the loss of Lucia after ten years, they miss her everyday. Unbeknownst to them that Lucia is alive. For ten years, Miles raised Lucia being everything a father should and Lucia grew up denied nothing and also raised with a deep hatred of Cadine and Josh.
Miles sends Lucia back to her mother but with a plan to destroy them. Cadine and Josh are unaware that Lucia is alive believing her to be an exchange student named Emmy. Emmy appears to be sweet and kind but Alex and Tommy are convinced that Emmy is really Lucia.
Bad things happen when Emmy is around but Cadine and Josh begin to believe that they may not be accidents. Cadine does research on Emmy but finds nothing, she begins to wonder who Emmy really is. Josh does research of his own and discovers the truth. Will Emmy/Lucia destroy them or will she reconcile with her family?
