Lazuli is the second biggest city on the island of Grandier. It faces the ocean in the east where the sun rises and greets every hopeful heart. Madison Brooks arrives at the Sea Corner Train Station as she carries her new sturdy maroon luggage in one hand. In her other hand, she tightly holds her cat carrier bag as Prim, a white female ragdoll cat kept making noises inside. "Now what?", Madi whispers to herself as she stood in the middle of the crowd thinking where she should start looking for her father whom she never met. "Do you think we should go back to Beril, Primmy?" Madi peeks inside the cat carrier as Prim meows piteously.
