The new prince didn't want to marry a person he didn't love, but he needed to find someone fast before his parents choose for him. He traveled half way across the globe until he met a poor woman and her family (her father and 2 little brothers)
He fell in love at the sight of her. After staying a week with her he saw her personality was also magnificent so he asked her to come with him for a week or so and if it all went well her family would join them later.
When it was all said and done she was having a tough time adjusting to her new lifestyle. The prince was bringing over princesses from other kingdoms to show her but it was not working.
One day the maid came in and saw her in a very feeble state and you will have to read to find out
