Dieppe. Summer, 1942. Lord Louis Mountbatten, Commander of the Combined Operations Office, has his eye on Northern France and an audacious plan for an Allied raid on this quiet fishing port in Normandy. But the head of Special Operations, Charles Hambro, has his doubts. Mountbatten's plans seem politically motivated and dangerously lacking in detail. Bowing to Mountbatten's seniority - and against his better judgement - Hambro sends his best agent, Arthur Cutter, undercover to France. Smuggled into the outskirts of Dieppe, Cutter links up with a young, hostile, and female French resistance fighter, Talia Crevier. As the Allied Forces attempt to penetrate the Nazi Atlantic Wall, Cutter and Crevier must find a way to trust each other - and infiltrate the Nazi forces within the town in a desperate attempt to give the raid a fighting chance. But as circumstance and Nazi cunning encircle them, the odds of success for Mountbatten's Operation Jubilee grow smaller and smaller....

Shepard's Watch Series: Book One A raging inferno at the Kremlin Armory, an Orthodox priest found murdered in his own church, and a series of mysterious bombings in Eastern Europe brings the American intelligence community to a sobering realization: someone is trying to start a war. As tensions in the region escalate, Special Operations Command Europe (SOCEUR) assembles a task force and gives one its most decorated Special Forces officers, Maj. Jay Shepard, a simple mission: find the parties behind this madness and do whatever it takes to stop them. It all starts wrong, and as the CIA, the newly formed Defense Clandestine Service, and the FBI all activate assets in support, a host of foreign intelligence services and the ever-present rivalries inside the U.S. government services threaten to derail the mission before it ever leaves the station. As Shepard's handlers hoped he would, he takes his operation off grid, reaching out to a reclusive billionaire with some very dark family secrets and a private army that's been implicated in dozens of black market arms deals. The more the Task Force succeeds, the more awkward the revelations become for the federal agencies pulled into the public scandals and congressional hearings back home. Worse, Shepard's team uncovers disturbing evidence related to an intelligence leak threatening national security networks. When his Task Force is recalled in order to be disbanded, Shepard is forced to choose between his chain of command and the oath he took to protect his country. He's been a tactical savant most of his life, confounding and frustrating even the most brilliant war planners with his ability to defy the odds: now he's been sanctioned as an enemy of the state. Betrayed by the people he served and hunted by the men he trained, Shepard now has to decide exactly how far he'll go and who he'll cross in order to complete his mission.

Medieval England - Year 1450: Eleanor was a poor shopkeeper's daughter whose only hope for a better life for herself and her family was to marry well. When she caught the eye of Thomas Fletcher, a royal courtier of noble blood, her family thought he was the answer to all their problems. Eleanor thought he was unattractive and rude, but she didn't have any better options as a poor commoner so she accepted his proposal. They just had to somehow convince King Henry that she was a suitable bride for Thomas so he would approve of their union, because marrying Thomas meant that she would join Henry's inner circle as a courtier. At just twenty three years old Henry had to take over as the King of England when his father passed away unexpectedly. On his first day presiding over the royal court, he was faced with a tough decision, should he approve Thomas' marriage to Eleanor, a commoner that he was almost certain was unfit to join his Royal Court? He decided the only fair way to decide was to have her stay at his castle for a week as his guest so he could see for himself if she had what it took to withstand the pressure of the life of a royal courtier. What King Henry didn't count on was the feelings that started to grow for that commoner throughout the week. She was already betrothed to someone else and even if she wasn't, a King could never marry a commoner. But he also couldn't ignore the growing need he felt inside to be with her, even if it would throw his country into a civil war and turn both of their lives upside down. He knew some things were worth fighting for. "don't you wish all spies could be so lovely?" Codenamed the Duchess of the Allies, Louisa Tallmadge is thrown into the midst of World War II as an Air Force pilot and a spy. Her husband Benjamin, is deeply in love with leather jackets, the American cause, and Louisa. With Benjamin as the head of US intelligence and Louisa his top spy, an ocean of separation between them and the constant dangers of being in enemy territory threaten to separate them forever. (a WWII spinoff of my book Of Wildflowers and Gunpowder, with a few of the same characters making appearances. Mostly because I wanted to experiment with Louisa and Ben in the 20th century, and a SEVERE lack of WWII books on here which stinks...ANYWAY GOOD LUCK AND THANKS FOR ANY INPUT)
