It is in the middle of the 18th century.
Two friends, Claire, who comes from France and is on vacation in Japan
and Evelyn, a resident from Japan.
Claire's parents want to get her engaged as soon as possible,
before it is too late.
But Claire doesn't want to be a housewife
but an artist and living independently.
Evelyn wants to help Claire achieve her dream.
But many difficulties await them,
because at that time there was no understanding
that a woman leads an independent life.
