Marinette Dupain-Cheng is as we all know, the one and only Ladybug. She has an awesome partner named Chat Noir who's secret identity is none other than Adrien Agreste. Ladybug rounds up a team of superheroes to fight the most dangerous villain of all time. Deathwish. Deathwish is different from any akuma they have ever faced. She doesn't just want Ladybug and Chat Noir's Miraculous'. She wants their lives. Ladybug quickly starts to lose hope as the people she loves are ripped out of her grasp in an instant. Ladybug is ready to take Deathwish down with her partner. But what will it cost to do so?

One day, Marinette receives a call from the Guardians' Temple, saying they're under attack from Hawk Moth and they need Ladybug's help. Marinette must build another wall of lies to help out, making her mother Sabine even more suspicious. She becomes Verity Queen, a truth-seeking supervillain that is after the true identities of the heroes. Can they keep their secrets a secret? Or is their cover blown for sure?

Marinette has been missing for a week and no one knows where she could have gone. Ladybug went on a mission and she's left Chat Noir in charge while she was gone. Chat Noir has found Hawk Moth but Ladybug is not back yet. Knowing she trusted him, he recruited some of his superhero friends to help him take Hawk Moth down. The heroes knew victory was close and so did Hawk Moth. Hawk Moth decided to use the only ace up his sleeve, the only thing he knew would make the heroes falter. "Marinette Dupain-Cheng is... dead." What happened before Co-Pilot? Well, Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Adrien Agreste, a.k.a. Ladybug and Chat Noir, are the top two agents working for a French secret service known as Miraculous. An organization designed to handle the most convoluted missions, it would take a miracle to solve them. Which for years had been dealing with mission "Akuma". After several months of working separately, the two agents are brought back together and forced to partner up. They have little choice, as they are quickly sent back out into the field. A murderess has recently escaped prison in London with help from Hawkmoth, in exchange for a cover up operation. It's up to them to successfully make the interception and recapture the deviant woman. The challenge is their possibly fatal attraction.
