Chris and Beyoncé have always been the best of friends, a bond that many teenagers would run away from but they never denied their feelings for one another. Spending a whole summer together, they were inseparable; nothing stopped them from being together.
They both were entering the entertainment scene and they didn't want to complicate their relationship. They knew that their careers were their main focus and didn't want to jeopardize anything for either of them but the connection they shared sometimes made it hard.
