Young ThunderClan apprentice, Maplepaw, is glad to be a warrior and can't wait to receive her name. But when strange visions plague her dreams with shadows of the past, her fears of losing the peace the clans fought so hard to protect refreshes anew in her mind. A strange prophecy telling of a near darkness coming to the Clans may be the only way to save the cats and everything they hold dear. Maplepaw must decide if she will trust the prophecy because if she doesn't, everything around her will fall.

Everyone swoons over her, sympathising with her, caring for her, when all she wants is for cats not to do that, to listen. However, when StarClan tell her of this evil, she may get the chance to prove herself to everyone. Rockpaw feels like an outcast, everyday being hated on by his Clanmates for seeing things differently. So when the chance to prove them wrong comes up, he doesn't give it a second thought. But the evil still resides, and Rockpaw might know more about it then he's letting on, even to himself. Greyshard, as a former kittypet, has always thought of life in the Clans as challenging. For her, everything seems to go wrong. Every plan, every schedule, every patrol - ends up in a disaster, and its always because of her. Keenkit always figured he and his littermates were normal kits who would all become apprentices and be able to train together. But when a strange cat takes his sister out of StreamClan on the day of their apprentice ceremony, he quickly realizes such hope has become impossible. Sunpaw just wants to prove to his clan, BreezeClan that he can become a great warrior. But it isn't as easy as it sounds.
