Sofia Davis had the perfect job and the perfect fiancé. Her love for writing stories and articles gave her a living and her love for her fiancé gave her a reason for that living. Besides, it's not everyday you get to be engaged to the mayor of the city. Everything was perfect. The wedding was soon and the couple both had a job they enjoyed. But then the invitation arrived in their home. Both Sofia and Damien are puzzled but ecstatic to have received word from an old dear friend who they feared to have lost. But when a fun game night turns into a nightmare, the young couple will have to fight to regain their old lives back.

So what happens when Izzy's childhood friend, Mark, is suddenly and mysteriously killed by an unknown murderer? Now she has to solve the murder as well has many other mysteries that each suspect is locking away. Even the Mayor Damian, Izzy's high school (and current) love, also has something to hide. But is it even related to Mark's death or something involving her during the party? All she is certain of is to survive and catch the killer before they claim any more victims.
