Everyone experiences that one moment. That moment where they find out something that just might change everything. That moment where they feel like it’s the end of the world. That moment when they’re so unsure of what to do, they feel like they just need to escape everything. Noelle hasn't experienced this moment yet; however, it's her senior year in high school and that moment is bound to happen soon. And it does. She's told she has a cancerous brain tumor. Her life is flipped upside down and doesn't look like it's going to be flipped back. With killer headaches, spurs of vision loss, and the occasional fainting, it seems nothing is ever going to be the same, especially since everyone's treating her differently. But Noelle discovers that there's something much, much worse than having a brain tumor - running out of time.

Have you ever wanted to be the bad girl of the school? The girl who everyone fears, the girl who's hot yet freaking badass? Well so does Alex. It's senior year and Alex decides she wants a change. For the past three years she's been the girl at the back of the classroom that no one pays attention to, but it all changes in one summer. The first day of school she makes a huge impact on everyone, raising her social status. Unfortunately it also changes all her problems from which book she wants to read next to problems she can barely handle one at a time. What if being popular is too much for her? What if all the pressure is causing small issues to become larger than ever and all she wants is to go back in her corner?
