Generally, induction cooktops are regarded as being good, while conventional systems are seen as being bad. Here, I see that induction cooktops are a thing. The other day, this guy came and installed one in my kitchen. Sure it looks pretty and modern. But as an old lad used to my gas stovetop,  my thoughts immediately drifted into questions whether or not there are really good and bad parts of induction cooktops.

In general, people who are looking for good systems have a preference for two different styles. Most of these are vertical-type cooktops which employ coils that induce heat in order to prepare food more rapidly. And that is the type they installed for me. Maybe I should have done more research before splashing the money on an appliance that has me asking more questions than enjoying it.
