Uprising

Fires, a pandemic, and civil unrest caused the infrastructure to collapse globally. Once great cities fell into ruin as the death toll climbed, fear was the driving force and the will to survive beat out every other instinct. The wealthy erected and fortified a city to keep them safe from the mass destruction. Thirty years later the world is in no better shape than it was, the virus is still claiming lives and only the wealthy remain safe inside the walls of the steel city. Thomas and Aylin grew up on opposite sides of the wall. A chance meeting one night could have them fighting side by side to bring down the wall and save what's left of the human race.
