Nyree Preston had everything going for herself after she moved away from everything and everyone she knew. With a 3 year old daughter and a soon to be husband, everything was fine until she got a phone call from her ex best friend's mother, informing her that the person she no longer cared for had been shot. Flying from Louisiana back to Texas as a favor to his mother, she comes to visit, not knowing that her time spend back at home will force her to face all the demons she had left behind.
