He held my face in between his hands, "Listen to me," He says, "You have to run. Run towards the sun. You will find a road." I was shaking and scared. So scared.
"What about you?" I ask him with emotion in my voice.
"i'll be okay. I have to go back for something."
"No, no! No you can't leave me! I-I don't...I can't... Carlos i-" gunshots fired in the distance making me jump.
"you have to go! Go towards the sun! I'll be back for you! I prom-" He didn't finish what he was saying, but instead kissed me urgently, but he pulled away too soon. "I'll see you soon." He turned and he ran in the direction of the gunshots.

He stood up and walked towards the door, running his hands through his hair. I was surprised, but decided to push further, to see how far I could actually push him. "Why not? You've done it before."
