Trust The Fate

Prologue:
Hybrids - the offspring of two animals or plants of different breeds, varieties, species, or genera, especially as produced through human manipulation for specific genetic characteristics.

In the middle of the forest, stood a large mansion, obviously well-taken care of if the blinding lights and vine-free walls were to be of any indications. Seems peaceful and inviting from the outside but as the old saying goes 'Never judge a book by its cover'. In one of the multiple luxurious bedroom, lies a human girl, tied up to the bed headboard, gagged, tear-streaked face, tattered clothes, looking extremely malnourished and obviously covered in bruises and wounds. She is struggling badly, if the red mark forming on her wrist is any indication, against the tight knot on her wrists as she tries her very best to blink away the waterfall-like tears to get a better vision. 'I am stronger than this. Stop crying, idiot. Just stop, please.' After few tugs here and twists there, the knot finally let loose around her wrist and she quickly removes the cloth from her mouth before hastily wiping her tears away. Tip toeing to the window, she stays still for a while to listen for the occupants of the house. Lucky for her, they are still busy arguing about something she doesn't give a damn about. She knows a lot about their activities but never find it in herself to care. She casts one last look at the bedroom, satisfied with her prep before jumping straight into the bushes, her sound is muffled by the soft padding material she had placed there beforehand. Just like that, she makes her escape, again, hoping that this time, she will succeed.
