Broken
I always thought that love would be constantly happy. That someone would write me love songs and stupid poems and everything they did would make my heart flutter. I thought that there was always one person you could depend on no matter what to be there for you. Someone who still cared for you despite all your flaws. Someone who could see the best and the worst of you and still think you were the greatest person in the entire world. The average human being spends every second of his day fighting against the force of nature to see another day. But I'm different. I'm not afraid of outside forces to take my life away - only myself. Approximately 10 years ago, something happened to me. Something really bad. But I'm not allowed to talk about it. As a way to release my frustration, I give hell to my body and everyone I come in contact with - especially my parents. No one knows about what happened except the ones who did it...and Him. But he didn't stay. Now, he's back and he's not talking either. I want to stop hurting, I need to stop. I'm weak and broken, tormented by monsters that keep reaching for me, touching my body, hurting me, living marks on my skin and soul. I don't know how it feels to sleep without waking up in the middle of the night sweating, incapable of defending myself, too afraid to scream for help. Until I meet him. He is strong enough to cast away the nightmares, to fight my demons scaring them away, to erase my scars with his tender touch. He teaches me to fight back, to be strong, to scream for help because now there is someone always coming to my rescue. Because now I have someone who loves me. Now I have him, my beautiful warrior, my soulmate, my leelen. We might not have met like normal people would, but again we are not normal and we are definitely not people. Even so our bond is stronger than anything and anyone. But finding my leelan is not the end of my story, it's just the beginning...Complete
