The pantry door opened and he launched himself forward I heard a crashing noise as they fell to the floor. I put my head between my knees covering my ears and squeezing my eyes shut. Praying that I might live through tonight. Even through my covered ears I could hear the altercation going on outside the door. Banging and crashing as they slammed and rammed each other through out the kitchen, my mother's crystal falling and shattering all over the kitchen. Then a gunshot rang out. My head shot up, oh god, then a few more, oh god. Scarred I grabbed a can of the shelf and walked to the pantry doors, ready to throw the can at my capture and cause enough distraction for me to run away. I will not die tonight.

"I hope you consider my sincerest apologies, I'm not a monster" He whispered in my ear as his body firmly pressed against my body pinning me against the wardrobe doors. His clammy hands pressing into my teeth as his lips hovered dangerously close to my neck. The sound of panicked murmurs and shuffled feet filled my heart with anxiety. He stood on the top of the bench slowly going for his weapon that was fastened to his side. "Undress" he muttered, pointing the firearm at my waist. "Someone's in there," I heard, making me let out a squeal, the dangerous man's face went pale. As I could hear a set ppof heavy footsteps come closer. "It's your choice princess, but I can't promise you a happy ending if you pick wrong," He mouthed. His barely audible words sounding as clear as the stores intercom. I gritted my teeth, with tears threatening my eyes I begged my lips to yell but nothing even purred out. The sweat collecting in the back of my neck finally started to roll down my back. "Please" I cried.
