Dominica Amell was the image of a typical boss lady, worked harder, learnt harder and always striving to achieve something big, something out of the world.



"Only I will have to go, I'm sorry."



Dominica along with her best friend sets out to solve the mystery of tutankhamun,the egyptian pharaoh by going back in time.
She sets out to gain fame in the world but does not think of the fact that time is not something to be messed with. 


"You?! What are you doing here, how did you get here?! What do you want?!?!"


But she doesn't know that someone else had pushed himself through the loopholes of her plan.
Basilah, a man who knew only one word. Power.

"You will worship me foolish lady."

When things get messed up,  the aim which Dominica came for, does it stay the same or something else tops her priority list?

And yes, this is my first story so things might get messed up, some parts might get crappy, but it's all worth it in the end.
I am not one of those where they say it's the first story and BAM! It's perfect.
Just know I have worked hard on this and it might not be perfect but it's definitely worth the shot, worth your time.

When his friend Eve is taken away to Fire Den Castle, and Kyra disappears, Milo knows he'll save them, and take care of his sister. But when his sister dies from his own powers, he knows it's time to step up and try his best to use his powers for good. So, when Kyra and Ember both need his powers, he knows he can protect them.

The exit door lead to the back of the building so it was pitch black. I leaned against the wall trying to control myself. Blood was running down my arm and head. My hair was stuck to my face from all the sweat and blood. Everything was spinning around me and the ground seemed like it was shaking. Groaning I sat down and put my head on my knees. He knows who I am. He knows how I look like. He knows where I work so possible knows where I live. I am not safe anymore... no where. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end. Maybe I should just let it happen. Maybe I was destined to die alone as a no one. With that I let the darkness consume me.

Together they were able to rebuild everything and although they had to restart, they never gave up and pushed forward, making the society we know now. As years went by, they got older and decided every 60 years all who turn 18 that year will have to take an exam. Then depending on their knowledge of a certain topic, they will be put into classes and be monitored for 5 years while learning the field of their choosing. With a special section for The Divine, for they had to take all the courses. The only catch would be once you had chosen what you would be studying, you could no longer change it. Anyone could take the places, gender and sexuality were not an issue. When the 5 years are up, 2 students with the highest grades from each section will be chosen, except in the case of The Divine. The work load to support an entire country can be hard on one person so that is why they had chosen to pick two people so that the work was divided, they were on equal footings. This year was when the new candidates were being chosen and it was during my lifetime. Will Mia be able to get through her hardships in one piece or will it be a walk in the park?!

They say what's in the past keep it in the past but I wanted to know all about my past. It was things that I didn't know and that I wanted and needed to know! But I didn't care because when I turned twenty I finally got to start making my own choices. This is where I wonder if the first choice I made was the right one. The first choice I made was to go live off-campus with my grandmother during my first semester in college. I ask myself how could I be so stupid? But you will see just how stupid I was. Or was I?

We have to kill him because if we don't then, he would kill us, which doesn't sound nice (and is a bit confusing) (*wink*). *** This is the first book of Monastasia series.
