James Mavericks was only five when his world was turned upside down. He watched as his brother was murdered by creatures that weren't supposed to exist. To make matters worse no one believed him, and his parents got a divorce because of the lose of their son.
Twenty years later James is asked by his best friend to join a secret society that specializes in infiltrating families of supernatural creatures, with the hope of finding a way to eradicate them. James is skeptical about his assignment especially when he sees the ones that killed his brother there. With the help of his best friend Winston he ends up becoming closer to them than he ever thought he could.
Now he has to decide if he can go through with the plan, or if he will let his new friends know what's going on.
