Polson, Montana 1942 

          Ever since the USA officially entered WW2 after the attack on Pearl Harbor almost 1 year ago, times have been hard for everyone. Victory Branson is a 16 year old girl who is doing her part to aid the war effort and help the men overseas. 

          But when her father and older brother get drafted, and her boyfriend Aidan lies about his age and enlists, along with so many other underage young  boys, Victory has to step up her game to help take care of her family as well.

*this is my first WattPad story so go easy on me lol. Updates will be very uneven and maybe if this actually gets some reads I can start doing them regularly. Suggestions are appreciated. After another failed attempt has him running in frustration where he stumbles on a scent he has to find. He's wishing for death, and having no regard for life when he smells the most wonderful smell. He follows the smell and He finds a 5 year old little girl and he's hungry! And then his heartbeats 💗 for the first time in hundreds of years, since he was turned, why??? Why did the Vampires heartbeat 💓? He's determined to find out. Ava is a 5 year old little girl living with her grandmother in a small Missouri town. On her way to the pool for her swimming lessons she notices a stranger. Ava being the sweet little girl that she is offers the stranger help. Give it a chance please!!! There are different time periods through out the story and I tried to choose music for those time periods that reflect upon the chapter. To even have a chance, Ava has to prove that just because she's a woman, doesn't mean she isn't capable of fighting to survive like the rest of them. Ava finds herself stuck in 1944, with "strange" technology called a cell phone, no way of charging it, and no way of getting home. In the midst of a gruesome and horrifying war, she finds herself questioning more than just sanity of the time period, but even her own.
