In this world, those born in the tamed lands, go through a ceremony when they turn 18. The ceremony unlocks their hidden gifts and decides their fate. Depending on their gift, they are sorted into different parts of the land for those with the same gifts.

The most common way to tell what your main gifts are is by your eye color, which changes during the ceremony.
