She and her friends are just trying to get through the rest of high school but when her neighbour and resident 'bad boy' shows up at her door after him and his family move in next door things take a slight turn especially since he's taken an interest in her.
Jacob Preston, Westviews 'bad boy' is known for being somewhat rude, flirtatious and someone who doesn't give a fuck about much. When he meets his knee neighbour his interest is peaked.
When their friend groups grow closer, so do Madeleine and Jacob. Both have heavy pasts and both are quite different.
