Draco Malfoy and the Alcoholic's Wish
The war itself was terrible. But the aftermath seems even worse now it's gone. Maybe we were all too busy fighting for what we felt as right (or what we were told was right), and we didn't notice we were treading on the dead fingers and toes of our families and friends. Many good people were lost, stolen, or broken by the end. Families were left divided and dead, families purer, and much more innocent than mine. And it's all my fault.Complete
Healing the Broken
The war had more than taken it's tole on the golden trio, and Harry was worn, tired and filled with sadness and grieving. He felt so much sorrow, and had no idea what to do with it. The Weasley's had taken a month or so to get back to their somewhat normal selves... but not everyone was the same. And you can't after all of the losses that they had dealt with. But Harry feels something heal whenever he is around Hermione. She had always known what to do and what the right thing to say was, and that was one thing that hadn't changed. But he started to get distant to Ginny and gravitate towards Hermione, who seemed to be one of the only people capable of making him happy.Complete

What happened after The War? Do you think it was easy for The Golden Trio after that? Harry realizes the hidden horrors of his years at Hogwarts and, together, Harry and his friends formulate a plan to level the playing field. Though, when it inevitably all goes sideways, Death reveals himself to Harry and offers him a once in a lifetime opportunity. Will he take it? -- WARNINGS: 1. This is a slow burn (trust, it'll be worth it) 2. Tom is a manipulative little shit 🥰 3.
