A man with long brown hair tied up neatly in a bun and long rectangular glasses stared at me with a smirk on his face. He slowly took off his glasses and placed them gently on his desk, stacking his papers in an organized manner.

"Where am I? Why am I here? How do you know my mom?"

"You, miss Atalanta Izara Palmerin, are in the great country of Meraoqi. And as for why you are here..."

Atalanta Izara Palmerin is a normal girl with a normal life She was born in Oswego, Illinois and grew up there for her whole life.
