A man with long brown hair tied up neatly in a bun and long rectangular glasses stared at me with a smirk on his face. He slowly took off his glasses and placed them gently on his desk, stacking his papers in an organized manner.
"Where am I? Why am I here? How do you know my mom?"
"Slow down my dear. One question at a time. Let's start off with where you are and why you're here.." he said, sitting down on his desk, a little too close for my liking.
"You, miss Atalanta Izara Palmerin, are in the great country of Meraoqi. And as for why you are here..."
He paused for a second.
"You are here to compete for the prince of Meraoqi's heart."
