🔥 Prepare, for the new-age Cadre 🔥
Decades have passed since Erawan's demise, and a new era of prosperity has blanketed Eriliea. The land and people are thriving, having adjusted to life without the Valg and Gods. But unbeknownst to the people, a black poison - Morath's secret legacy - is once again clawing its way back to the surface.

As the Cadre gather around Aelin in preparation for her daughter's birth, Benji Galathynius, the 'spare' to the throne, feels an increasing isolation towards his family. However, one dark evening, Benji intercepts a secret letter meant for his parents. Deciding the letter's contents is the perfect opportunity to finally prove his worth to the world, he forms a new-age cadre to battle the encroaching evil. Rounding up his friends, Asterin Blackbeak-Havilliard, Luka Lochan and Quinn Ashryver, a new generation prepares to finally end the threat that has plagued their world for centuries.

No matter the cost.

{COMPLETED} The stars disappeared seventeen years ago. A black night sky has mirrored a bleak existence for the people of Auros. The Gifted, humans with unique abilities to affect the world around them, have all but become extinct thanks to the dark reign of a usurper. And somehow Zephyr Elvy has managed to live her nineteen years in the blissful quiet of a small town next to the sea. Zephyr has always been content to keep to herself, and happy to live a simple, if uneventful, life. If only the universe had that in mind for her. Forced to flee the only place she has ever called home, Zephyr finds herself running through a world she has only ever read about, along with two soldiers who have deserted their posts to keep their consciences clean. With only a letter and a mysterious weapon as clues to why she's being hunted, Zephyr must face her own fears while discovering a whole new world of terrors at the hands of a queen she knows next to nothing about. Having never risked anything her entire life, Zephyr is forced to choose between apathy or action, hiding and keeping to herself, as she has always done, or taking a leap that could change the world she is just now getting to see. ***** Thank you SO MUCH for reading! I'm updating every Monday until this story is done, and I've been sitting on this one for almost three years so I'm really excited to finish it! I don't have any beta readers for this as I write, so please let me know if you notice anything, and I mean ANYTHING, that needs fixing! :)

Though her parents were absent and neglectful, her twin brother wasn't. With more money than any teenager needed, freedom to do whatever she wanted, and a brother who supported her fully, it was easy to forget that there were people all around the world who didn't have it as easily as she did. Talon Raised with more responsibility than most kids, Talon Draven was an old soul. Even though he was only eighteen-years-old, he took the responsibility of taking care of his sister and mother very seriously. With an absent father and a mother who worked two jobs, Talon did what he had to in order to take care of his younger sister and help out his mother. When you least expect it... After Kenzlee's father loses everything that they own, she's shipped off to her uncle's house until her parents can get their act together. Suddenly, she's faced with a new life, new school, new friends, and an uncertain future. However, none of that anxiety compares to when she first meets Talon Draven. After Talon's spent years sticking to his life's plan, he's hit with a temptation that he never imagined could exist. On his way to class, he's run over by a goddamn princess, and his entire life's focus shifts. Staring into the face of the most beautiful girl that he's ever seen, Talon just has to have her. While Kenzlee's preparing for an uncertain future, Talon's preparing for a future with her in it. However, the one thing they can both agree on? Here is my spin on Throne of Glass but Mafia style! "Aelin looked at the man who was her enemy. He represented everything she hated about this world they lived in. His green eyes stared back. Full of hate. Yet there was some lust lost in the deep green. His silver hair striking against the black of his tuxedo. She had to remember that the gala was neutral territory and she couldn't gut him as they danced around the ball. His eyes roaming her body. Trying to find her weaknesses." "Rowan looked down at the golden beauty. She was heir to the most dangerous mafia family in all of Erilea. She was nothing like Lyria. Who was soft and musical. Aelin was a wildfire wanting to escape her compounds. Yet he watched her dance with her chosen partner. The brown haired young man. Sam was now watching from their families table as he brought Aelin around for one final spin."
