21-year-old Sophia Hagias is a Holy Sister for the Church of the Cosmos, with one duty and one along--arrest and assassinate sorcerers. But she also has a secret: she is a child of Lilith.
When a mission goes wrong and she can no longer perform her duties as a Holy Sister, she finds herself on the other end of the Church's cruel judgement. Sophia is given a choice: die or infiltrate Ira Accidia--the home of Lucifer and steal back a book that will allow the Church to take back the other realms of hell.
Sophia chooses the latter and infiltrates Lucifer's court as a "gift" to them by the Church. As their courtesan, she's bound by their dark court and the wicked rules. But she also finds another side of Lucifer and another side of herself. One that craves something... else.
The Marian Cycle is a first person, present tense story filled with deadpan quips. For adults and part of my writing exercises. Any critiques are welcome as I'm still trying to hone my skill.
I wrote this when I was about 13, A LOT of it doesn't make sense. Check out my other works that are a lot better.
