In a superhuman society where roughly 80% of the world's population possesses superhuman abilities, Kaida's quirk allows her to breathe fire. Hero work never interested her much until her peers helped her recognize her own potential. Now, like the rest of class 1-A, she is determined to climb to the top of her class and become a hero- all while hiding a dark family secret that she happens to discover during her time at UA.

With evil arising and villains taking over the world, it is up to Kaida, her teachers, and her classmates to protect each other at any cost. Climbing to the top won't be easy for her or class 1-A with the constant threat of evil, but with their quirks and determination, they'll fight with everything they've got to become heroes, just like the ones they admire.
