Old Wounds

This is just something I based off my OCs (original characters). It ain't gonna be done for a while but enjoy what there is for now. There will be violence, disturbing imagery, and some gore, but no sexual content. This if for ages 14+ as it does get graphic at times. I suggest you read Tui T. Sutherland's book series "Wings of Fire" before you read this as this a is a fan fiction based off of that book series. I am an amateur writer, if I mess up something please be lenient.

The war hadn't been not been kind to anyone, Mothers without sons, sons without fathers, wives without husbands, orphaned children. No one was spared, the had lasted 20 years, 20 long grueling, horrible years. It had been especially hard on a Mudwing, a single Mudwing soldier, a grunt, a disposable troop whose life meant nothing. But to him, family mattered first and foremost, but that was taken from him, now he walks alone, wanting to make something of himself.
